Qtrade Investor announces NEW enhancements

We are pleased to announce the following enhancements to Canada’s #1 online brokerage as rated by Morningstar and The Globe and Mail

NEW Qtrade Investor Platform Improvements - Qtrade Investor remains dedicated to offering the very best trading platform available in the online brokerage industry.

In addition to offering complex order types and extensive portfolio data, we have made the following platform enhancements to enrich our customer experience:


Good Through Date – We have extended the Good Through Date from 30 days to 60 days for all equity and option orders.

Trade Notifications - Clients can choose to receive email notifications when their equity or option trades are filled or partially filled on the market.

Recent Symbols – The ten most recent symbols (excluding Mutual Funds) a client has searched are now displayed on their Quote landing page. Qtrade clients can hover over the symbol to receive a Quick Quote or access full company details with one click.

Sorting – Clients can now choose to sort account and/or trade details/columns as they wish. Sorting capabilities have been added to the Portfolio Basic, Quote and Valuation View pages, as well as the client’s Account History and Order Status pages.

 

NEW Client Message Centre - Clients can now read and/or exchange secure and confidential messages with Qtrade, including announcements, news and responses from the Customer Support Team. Our new Online Message Centre will help keep customers up-to-date with the latest developments and/or market updates in order to help them make more informed investment decisions.

NEW Let Us Call You - Customer Service is a top priority at Qtrade Investor. We have a knowledgeable support team and licensed representatives that answer our phone lines. Customers are greeted by one of our team members, not a phone recording or queue. We have extended our customer service capabilities by now offering to contact any individual who would like us to. Individuals simply submit a brief request form and one of our experienced customer service agents will reach out to see how they can help.

NEW Compare Products Tool - As part of our commitment to provide customers with the tools and resources needed to make informed investment decisions, we now offer a tool that summarizes information on various types of investment products. Customers simply select the types of products they would like to learn about from the drop-down menus provided. They are able to compare two product types side-by-side, to make it easy to determine which one(s) may be right for them. Links to a variety of tools and research, applicable to each investment type, are also displayed.

NEW Updated Client Landing Page - Our client landing page maintains its fresh, clean look, with easy access to quotes, market and account information and now includes even more functionality. We have enhanced our landing page, making it even easier for clients to access some of the popular tools and research offered on our site. With one click, clients can now access independent analyst recommendations, read a daily overview of the market, set up a watchlist, place a trade, find out more information on our Commission Free ETF program, access the online message centre and much more.

NEW Mobile Enhancements - Qtrade Investor was the first in the industry to launch an online brokerage mobile platform, complete with trading. As a leader in the mobile space, we have not stopped enhancing our MobileWeb experience. Clients who enjoy using our mobile site are now able to create new watchlists and/or monitor holdings within their current Watchlist(s). Clients are able to easily track investments, markets and securities (including stocks, ETFs, indexes and mutual funds).

NEW Technical Analysis Updates - Rotating Tips have now been added to our Technical Insight platform. Every two months a certain feature will be highlighted. The feature will be described, the benefits highlighted and the functionality explained, including a tutorial video demonstrating how to use it. For the months of August and September, the functionality of Recognia’s Trailing Stop Alerts was featured.

NEW Order Entry Screen Tutorial Videos - Qtrade has added new trading tutorial videos to the order entry pages. These videos are now strategically located and easily viewed by clicking on the links on the order entry screens.
